The design for Puducherry’s first restropub envisions a dance and DJ zone around the bar space. A central internal lit onyx marble features as the primal gathering spot and bar counter. The dark acoustic background is interspersed with streaks of light in the bar counter. The front balcony is the only smoking area of the restropub and so, the elevation is designed to offer visual privacy and reduce the smoke smell for the neighbours. Bespoke custom made furniture highlight the contemporary theme of the pub and also act as acoustic softeners. Specially designed acoustic fabric panels adorn the walls for acoustic privacy. Crosskeys had a slow and soft opening but became the most popular pub in Puducherry within a few months through word of mouth.
